Apuntes sobre la flora y la vegetación del sector costero Bahía de Vita-Pesquero, Rafael Freyre, Holguín.

Resumen

El sector costero Bahía de Vita-Pesquero se localiza en la provincia Holguín, en el municipio Rafael Freyre, Cuba. En diciembre del 2001 se realizó el estudio de la flora y la vegetación de dicha área, aplicando métodos tradicionales de colecta y herborización. Se observaron tres tipos de formaciones vegetales naturales: complejo de vegetación de costa rocosa, complejo de vegetación de costa arenosa y bosque siempreverde
micrófilo. Fueron identificadas un total de 257 especies de plantas, de las cuales 42 (16.3 %) son endémicas de Cuba. Las mayores afinidades
florísticas son con el Neotrópico y dentro de éste con Las Antillas. Dentro de los tipos biológicos predominan los micronanofanerófitos y los microfanerófitos. Sobresalen las especies con hojas micrófilas y las nanófilas. Por su utilidad se destacan las especies con valor medicinal.

ABSTRACT
Tha coastal sector Bahía de Vita-Pesquero is located in the province of Holguin, Rafael Freyre, Cuba. The study of the flora and the vegetation
of this area was carried out in december of 2001, applying traditional methods collecting and herborization. Three types of natural units of
vegetation were identified: complex of vegetation of rocky coast, complex of vegetation of sandy coast and microfilous evergreen forest. A
total of 257 species of plants were identified, 42 of them (16.3 %) are endemic of Cuba. The strongest floristic affinities are with the Neotropic
and within it with the Antilles. Among the biological types outnumbered the micronanofanerophytes and the microfanerophytes. The species
with microfilous and nanofilous leaves are the most common. For its utility stand out the species with medicinal value.
