Helechos y plantas afines (Pteridophyta) de Cuba. I. Fitogeografía

Resumen

En el presente trabajo se brinda una lista general de los taxones infragenéricos y su distribución en las diferentes unidades fitogeográficas,
considerando además los endémicos y las especies amenazadas. Se ofrece el total de taxones infragenéricos, géneros, familias, endémicos
y especies amenazadas por cada unidad fitogeográfica, así como el porciento de endemismo y los taxones exclusivos de cada región. Se
discuten las afinidades florísticas entre las unidades fitogeográficas cubanas y las de estas con otras regiones del mundo y se presentan
además datos sobre los tipos corológicos de la pteridoflora cubana y comentarios sobre su abundancia. Para la provincia fitogeográfica Cuba
se registran 715 taxones infragenéricos, 108 endémicos, para un endemismo de 15.1 %, 107 géneros, 32 familias y 95 especies amenazadas ya categorizadas.

ABSTRACT

The present work gives to know the current state of the Cuban fern flora; a general listing of the infrageneric taxa and its distribution in thedifferent phytogeographic units is shown, considering also the endemic ones and the threatened species. The infrageneric taxa, genera, families, endemic species and threatened ones by each phytogeographic unit, as well as the endemism percent and the exclusive taxa of eachregion are offered. The floristic affinity between the Cuban phytogeographic units and those with others regions of the world is discussed; data on the corological types of the Cuban pteridoflora and about their abundance are also presented. For the Cuba phytogeographic province 715 infrageneric taxa are listed including 108 endemics (15.1 % of endemism) 107 genera, 32 families and 95 threatened species already categorized.
